Working equines

Caring for working donkeys

Donkeys hide pain well, so problems can be advanced before they show. Regular checks of teeth, hooves and harness areas — and early treatment of sores — keep working donkeys healthy, comfortable and able to work.

Dr. Colleta can check several animals in one visit and show handlers simple daily checks.
